The boys & girls travel divisions are managed by the respective travel leagues. See Central League Soccer for more information on these divisions. The intramural divisions are managed by MNSA.

Travel Soccer

A competitive soccer program with both boys and girls teams playing in fall leagues. Travel provides the opportunity for advanced instruction, playing with your peers, and the ability to play other local clubs (typical drive time is within 30 minutes) in the area.

Teams are placed in divisions that are matched to the skill level of the club and travel offers teams that range in age from 8 to 19. The teams are selected through an open tryout in April and May and MNSA encourages everyone to try out to so that we can assess and match each player’s skill level to the appropriate League Divisions.

Practice is twice a week and typically play one game a weekend with travel teams having the added advantage of optional extended summer practice and local tournaments.

Intramural Soccer

The Intramural Soccer Program is a community soccer program focused on team building and fun for boys and girls 7 thru 17 years of age. Teams play in separate divisions for boys and girls and are split up according to appropriate age ranges.

To participate in Intramural Soccer, children must be 7 or older as of August 1st. The program includes weeknight practices under the lights and Saturday games during the day at Russell Elementary School in Broomall. Games for Intramural Soccer start in early September and finish in November.

Petite & Micro Soccer

Micro Soccer occurs in the Fall starting in September and finishing by November.

Academy Soccer

The Academy Soccer program provides additional training for young players who are currently enrolled in Intramural and Micro Soccer. The Academy program is open to U7 and U8 boys and girls.

This program is designed for U7 and U8 players who are interested in enjoying the game of soccer while advancing their skills in preparation for the Travel Soccer program starting at the U9 level. Professional trainers will will work with MNSA coaches to provide extra training and fun games for the players. The goal is to provide a higher level of training for players that are interested in improving their skills and working towards the travel program at the U9 level. The program is also designed to help new coaches learn from professional trainers in order to educate them on proper coaching techniques and learn valuable skills and activities to bring to their teams. We encourage coaches of young players to come out and be a part of this program.

The program will provide technical training from professional trainers and small sided games each week. The cost per player is $45 and includes a Marple Newtown SA Academy jersey. The program is open to boys and girls U7 and U8 regardless of any other team or club affiliation.

Indoor Soccer

Provides an opportunity for area children to continue the fall soccer activity through the winter months. Indoor Soccer takes place on weekends from January through March. Each game is played in an indoor arena from 30 to 45 minutes. The games take place at the Marple Sports Arena, located at 611 South Park Way, Broomall, PA 19008. The Indoor Soccer Program includes boys and girl divisions for ages 5 through 16.
